I asked Claude 3.5 Sonnet to look over a small excerpt from a larger PDF document, and give me its analysis of the document's structure in terms of chapters and sections. I also asked, incidentally, if it would like to offer any observations on the content itself of the document. The document was a small excerpt from Project 2025, but I didn't tell Claude that. Our exchange was interesting.

I am going to ask Claude 3.5 Sonnet precisely the same questions and give it the same prompts, in exactly the same order that I gave them to Chat GPT 4o.

With this input Chat GPT came up with a breathtakingly robust theory of dark energy, its purpose and function, complete with testability and falsifiability criteria, complete with a mathematical framework that included some impressive equations and formula.

With identical input, what will Claude do? I have no idea! And I am excited! I can't wait! I am going to do this right now, Monday, June 24, 2024, starting at about 6:00pm MST here in Phoenix, Arizona.

To my knowledge no one has ever done what I am going to do here—put two AIs head to head on a very complex challenge in theoretical physics.

I thought I would get a response from another AI, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, on this New Theory of Dark Energy formulated by ChatGPT 4o.

However, this is the approach I took with Claude for my first question. I gave Claude just the first two math equations of the many that Chat GPT put forward in support of its new theory of dark energy. That's it! That's all I gave Claude to go on—just two equations with no other context, whatsoever.

It gave an amazing analysis from just those two equations. Then I gave it a little bit of context about what Chat GPT was trying to do in terms of formulating a theory of dark energy.. and

WOW! Claude and Chat are like two siblings on the same team of theoretical physicists.

This one chat in particular on the subject of dark energy is doubtlessly the most amazing, and thus it provided the inspiration to create this new blog of Amazing Chats with Chat GPT™.

This conversation stunningly—I had no idea this was coming—birthed a new and remarkably fleshed out theory of the nature and purpose of dark energy in the universe. Named the Multi Dimensional Regulating Dark Energy Theory (MDRDET), it is even testable and falsifiable—crucial requirements for any scientific theory. ChatGPT even provided the foundational math and equations necessary to scientifically support this new theory.
